Whipple, known for its industry-leading supercharger systems and dedication to leading the market in power has now brought that same technology to the 2.3L Mustang Ecoboost with the excellent Monster Cooler. The Whipple Monster Cooler produces nearly 3 times the surface area of the stock unit offering matchless cooling capacity and constant power. Testing back to back showed nearly a 90deg F drop in post intercooler temps from stock, opening lost power with incredible cooling capacity. The Stage 1 system includes an SCT X4 flash tool and a custom calibration to unlock the excess power in your Ecoboost Mustang. The Whipple Stage 1 system is the first and only 50-state legal Ecoboost upgrade package available today, allowing for upgrades in all 50-states.

The factory intercooler cannot keep up during constant power demand, easily exceeding 200deg F after the intercooler with stock tuning. That's 200deg F air going into the motor, robbing power, lowering spark advance, and needing additional fuel to keep the powertrain live. With the Whipple Mega Cooler, temps hover nearly 100deg F cooler than stock giving more horsepower and torque than stock, without ever changing the calibration or other bolt-on parts. Even better, the temp preserves constant run after run where the stock one continues to rise.

 Whipple engineers developed the largest, most efficient intercooler available that requires zero modifications to the vehicle. Using advanced CFD modeling, the Whipple Mega Cooler significantly outflows the stock intercooler while offering significantly cooler air. The bar and plate type intercooler features an offset air fin with 16 fins per inch, creating increased cooling with low-pressure drop.

The Mega Cooler is 20" x 17.1" x 3", 342 square inches of surface area and 272% greater volume than the stock unit. The factory cooler measures 20.75" x 5.75" x 3.15", 119 square inches of surface area, giving the Whipple Mega Cooler an immense advantage to keep temps in all applications.
