JLT Plastic Cold Air Intake in Painted Body Color.

Our first intake kit with the MAF housing incorporated into the tube. This makes for a smooth interior and a smooth look to the tube itself. We even took the interior sound tube into consideration. Some want it and some don’t, so we moved it to the inside and center of the tube. A cap is included so you can remove the tube and cap the fitting in the JLT tube. Because we lowered the fitting, when it’s capped it’s less noticeable at most angles looking into the engine compartment.

With a huge 4.5” opening on the tube we needed a huge filter. We love the tapered flange design and Powerstack filtered ends of S&B's filters and ended up with a monster 4.5x9” filter. Finish it off with a silicone coupler and stainless clamps and you got the BEST Intake on the market!!! NO METAL TUBING HERE!!

2012-13 BOSS 302 owners & 2011-14 GT owners using the BOSS intake manifold: This kit fits as is, but we can include a 2.5” vs. 2” coupler that will improve fit with BOSS manifold. Please select YES in drop down box below if this applies to you and we will swap the 2” coupler for the longer 2.5” coupler at no extra charge.

AUTOMATIC OWNERS
Automatic cars need an additional fitting, which we provide if you select automatic when ordering (see below). The fittings are Milled from solid billet aluminum and all you need to do is drill a ½” hole (we show you where) in the tube, install the supplied grommet, fitting and you’re done. Note, all kits sold to resellers will include the automatic fitting.

HEAT SHIELD
Includes new roto molded plastic heat shield to block engine heat at idle and low speed. 
It incorporates the fresh air inlet from the grill. 
It uses a large area to make sure the filter has tons of cool air.

FINISH OPTIONS
Available in your cars exact body color. All painted tubes receive a special treatment so paint adheres correctly to the plastic and go through an in-depth process to remove all the texture. We then use only the best quality materials to give each tube a smooth gloss finish.

RED CANDY
We do NOT paint this using the standard 3 stage paint as it is very expensive and actually more likely to not match. We do use Redfire for Red Candy that matches great every time.

GOTTA HAVE IT GREEN
We do NOT paint this using the standard 3 stage paint as it is very expensive and actually more likely to not match. We do have a custom mix for GOTTA HAVE IT GREEN that matches great every time.

RUBY RED
We do NOT paint this using the standard 3 stage paint as it is very expensive and actually more likely to not match. We do have a custom mix for Ruby Red that matches great every time

GAINS AND TESTING
Up to 30+ RWHP has been seen when used with our custom tunes!
Our testing as well as many others have showed gains of 24-30 RWHP with our CAI and custom tune. If you see more “claimed” by others, ask them how. Also look over the dyno sheets real good for low number baseline runs or no dyno sheets at all. Many will base line the car with 87 fuel, then add 93 fuel, the CAI and tune and show more power. We don't do that! We test a car with 93 fuel from the start.

A JLT specific tune is required with this kit.
