Add a  '07-12 GT500 M122 supercharger

The M122-DS kit is primarily designed for those cars/trucks that have their intake path going down the drivers side, hence our kit name ending in "DS".    Using the excellent 122 cubic inch supercharger from a 2007-2012 GT500 makes installing a supercharger on your Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, Town Car, F150, etc. easier than using our Terminator GT which has the intake path on the passenger side.    Our M122-DS kit makes your like easy when you wish to install a positive displacement supercharger that makes GOBS of low end torque!  This is truly the best kit out there for the 4.6L 2V....bar none!!

  When using a factory GT 500 supercharger, this kit will safely make 380-400 RWHP on a bone stock 4.6L 2V engine at approximately 7-8# of boost.   Higher power levels are easily capable with built engines and different pulleys to raise boost.  The Tork Tech M122-DS kit allows our customers to make significantly higher power levels by simply installing any aftermarket supercharger intended for the '07-12 GT500 application!    Yes, our kits will support blowers from Whipple, VMP and K. Bell to make HUGE POWER!!

  The GT500s throttle body uses a Drive-By-Wire setup and has the same electrical plug as the late model Panther platform cars and others that were DBW.  This kit is adaptable to a cable driven throttle body as well.   We offer an adapter to mate a '03/04 Cobra throttle body to the GT500 inlet plenum and also offer a remote mount Idle Air Bypass Valve adapter to recreate this necessary function on the M122 supercharger.   These two items are optional and pictures are shown below.


The Intercooled M122-DS Kit includes the following:

  • Aluminum lower intake manifold with remote coolant thermostat housing.
  • High capacity intercooler resides inside the lower manifold directly below the customer provided GT500 Supercharger.
  • Front engine cross brace assembly that provides an independent 8-rib supercharger drive assembly with all belt idler pulleys and a tensioner.
  • 7" diameter lower piggy back style crank pulley that attaches to the factory Romeo style pulley dampener to complete the separate 8-rib drive belt assembly.
  • 3.0" diameter custom hub and ring style 8-rib supercharger pulley.   Optional 2.75" diameter.
  • Custom gasket between the customer provided supercharger and the top plate.


Installation is straight-forward and can be completed by a DIY enthusiast with common hand tools. Our online Installation Instructions are shown on the left side of the main page.


  Optional:  

  • Throttle Body Adapter - for use of a '03/04 Cobra Tbody on the M122 inlet elbow.   This is for cable driven throttles, not Drive-By-Wire.
  • Remote mount Idle Air Control Valve - for use with the Throttle Body Adapter to complete an IAC setup on cable driven throttles, not Drive-By-Wire.
