The Akrapovic Engineers have spent months developing a Boxster Slip-On titanium exhaust system that takes the Porsche Boxster driving experience to a completely new level. The Akrapovic Boxster/Cayman full titanium exhaust system with a three muffler configuration saves weight at the rear axle and improves power and torque. Typical power gains are an additional 6-8rwhp and 10-13 ftlb of torque. The Akrapovic Boxster exhaust reduces back pressure and provides a more linear power curve. Power gains are especially noticeable in the mid range. The Arkappovic systems provides a thoroughly pleasing exhaust note thanks to the dual-mode exhaust flap system. You can leave the dual mode function of the exhaust up to to the car’s ECU to choose the noise level, or you select it yourself by pressing a button on the optional Akrapovic Wireless Kit which can manually control the dual mode exhaust
If the stock system does not have integrated exhaust valves, the wireless kit is mandatory. If the stock system has integrated exhaust valves (the Porsche sport exhaust), no wireless kit is needed but can still be used to manually control the exhaust if desired.
