Steeda High Velocity ProFlow Cold Air Kit - GT - 2010

Product Details Steeda's cold air intake for the 2010 GT takes your 2010 Mustang GT to the next level. The 2010 Mustang GT's intake system from Ford is an excellent piece, but Steeda was up to the challenge of making it even better. We started with a large surface area high flow air filter with our famous velocity stack. We then designed a stainless steel heat shield with rubber gasket to seal against the hood and increased the MAF housing size to 95mm then coupled it to a new higher flowing Pro-Flow inlet hose. You would think this is more than enough, but we went the extra mile and designed this intake system to accept the factory sound tube should you choose to want to keep it. We also have tied our airbox into the factory lower cold air scoop for the coolest air charge possible. Something other competitors on the market chose to neglect. Airflow is increased so much that a tune is not just recommened, its required! Take a look at our SCT Xcalibrator 3 or Livewire tuners to tune your vehicle. If you already own a flash tuner, you will need to have a custom tune made for this cold air intake from your tuning supplier. Typical gains with the cold air and custom tune are 20 to 25 horsepower and up to 25 ft/lbs of torque. With proper tuning you will see extra power over the entire RPM range, not just a peak number.
