During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track/ runners, large amounts of oil, in the form of vapors and even oil will end up diluting your gas thus lowering its octane level. This happens on all engines and is much worse with forced inducted vehicles (supercharged and turbocharged) as crankcase pressures are increased.  With the diluted octane of your fuel harmful dentonation can occur.

One of the best ways to combat octane dilution is to use our oil separator/ catch can.  These units are milled from solid billet aluminum into a large canister holding over 8oz of fluids.  Each canister is also finished with a very durable anodized finished in your choice of black, and red, finishes.  The knurled top and base makes for easy disassembly with an O ring seal to prevent any leaks. Unlike many units on the market which require you take cap off to remove the oil ours unscrews the lower portion.
