V-3 Systems: No Oil Lines Necessary Systems

that include the V-3 internally lubricated supercharger do not require a connection between the oil pan and gear case (V-1 and V-2 systems are engine oil fed and require oil lines). This V-3 has a self-contained lubrication system and comes with an attached oil drain extension so the unit does not have to be removed for servicing. This Supercharger comes factory pre-filled with Vortech's special synthetic fluid and includes an integrated dipstick for simple fluid checks.

Depending on what state you live in or plan to drive your Mustang, you'll want to ensure this upgrade is going to be street legal. Currently in CA, 2007 systems produced after June 12, 2008 are no longer approved by the California Air Resources Board. These systems are legal in California only for racing vehicles but may never be used upon a highway (off-road or race track use only).
